FAQ
Questions about our collision repair services and process.
Collision repair timelines vary depending on the vehicle and the extent of the damage. Before providing an estimated completion date, our team completes a full disassembly to identify hidden damage, researches the manufacturer-required repair procedures for your vehicle, and confirms the availability of the necessary parts.
Once your vehicle is dropped off for repair, it goes through our complete blueprint process. We typically provide the full repair blueprint and an update within 48 to 72 hours. This allows us to give you a repair timeline based on what your vehicle actually needs rather than an estimate we can’t stand behind.
Yes. Body Builders Automotive works with insurance companies, but we work for you, not your insurance company. We are a 100% pro-consumer collision repair facility.
Our team prepares, submits, and presents the documentation required for your claim directly to your insurance carrier on your behalf. Body Builders Automotive is not a contracted repair shop for any insurance company, with the exception of Chubb and PURE. This independence allows us to build your repair plan around the procedures required by your vehicle’s manufacturer rather than the limitations of an insurance carrier’s contract.
Body Builders Automotive is certified to repair vehicles from more than 20 major European, American, and Asian automotive brands. Visit our Brands page to see our manufacturer certifications and find your vehicle’s brand.
We stand behind our collision repair work with a limited warranty. Our workmanship is guaranteed for as long as you own your vehicle, while replacement parts are covered according to the warranty provided by their manufacturer.
If you have a concern with work performed by Body Builders Automotive, bring your vehicle back to us for an inspection.
Yes. You can use the Instant Estimate tool on our website to submit photos of your vehicle’s damage and receive a preliminary repair cost range at no charge and with no obligation.
Keep in mind that a photo estimate is a starting point, not a final repair price. Collision damage can extend beneath the vehicle’s exterior and cannot always be identified from photos alone. An accurate final repair cost can only be determined after your vehicle has gone through our complete blueprint process.
You can also schedule a repair consultation with our team to discuss the insurance claims process, your vehicle’s repair needs, and what to expect throughout the repair.
